The story mode of Injustice Gods Among Us is based on the comic book line Crisis on New Earth and a DC alternate Universe. The death of Louis Lane by the hands of the notorious Joker drives Superman to go insane and totally out of the recognizable character we know. In pretty much all the cutscenes of Injustice Gods Among Us Superman’s displayed as a monstrosity and has assemble his own Justice League to establish his own world order.
