marvel’s avengers spider-man. So yeah guys as I was saying Spider-Man has officially dropped for the Playstation versions of Marvel’s Avengers and as promised I’m gonna give you guys my review. We’re gonna go over the pros, the cons, as well as talk about some of the new features Crystal Dynamics dropped on us such as the new gear upgrade system. And I know I shouldn’t do this but I cannot for the life of me go without comparing their version of Spidey to Insomniac’s version. Because although they’re 2 completely different games you can tell that Crystal went out of their way to make their version feel somewhat similar to Marvel’s Avengers Spider-Man. Like I thought you guys were exaggerating when you said that certain moves were copy and pasted onto this game. But once you actually get to play it for yourself you can see that the devs were very much cognisant of the fans expecting their Spidey to feel similar if as good as Insomniac’s Spidey. I’m not sure if they did this by accident or Sony told them to make it similar but some of the moves are a little jarring. 1 of the key differences of this version of Spider-Man compared to Insomniac’s is obviously the web swinging. Because as you can see the webs function as they would in beat em ups like the Ultimate Alliance games. I know some of you are disappointed that it doesn’t have detail like the webs actually attaching to buildings surfaces as oppose to the invisible cloud. But if it did we probably wouldn’t even be playing with Spider-Man right now since his traversal system alone would’ve taken a long while to develop. So I didn’t necessarily have a problem with the webs latching onto the invisible clouds.
