Young Dro appears to be in financial trouble.The “Shoulder Lean” rapper, 40, was arrested on July 5 for allegedly throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend inside of their Atlanta-area home, TMZ reported. The couple reportedly had been fighting over money when Dro launched the sweet treat. Police were called to their house, and although his girlfriend didn’t want to press charges, police arrested him anyway.
He’s facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence, the outlet reported.
Dro reportedly remains incarcerated because he’s being held on a child support contempt order with another woman. Legal documents, obtained by TMZ, state that he owes $41,000 in back child support, but he needs to pay $10,000 to be released from custody. Dro claims he’s all paid up and it’s simply a clerical error.
