Hot Boy rapper B.G. (real name Christopher Dorsey) was reportedly denied an early release from prison — again. According to VladTV, U.S. District Judge Susie Morgan of New Orleans, Louisiana denied B.G.’s handwritten letter for a compassionate release on June 28, despite support letters from Birdman, Slim, Wendy Day and Gary Payton Sr., among others.B.G. has less than two years on his 14-year federal prison sentence for gun possession and witness tampering, but he’s tried multiple times to get out early. In February, he penned his first motion from prison after the entire Bureau of Prisons system went into lockdown due to violence in USP Beaumont. He wrote “murder and mayhem” was normal occurrence in federal prison and the public had no idea what was really going on behind prison walls.
He also claimed his health issues make him more susceptible to COVID-19, chided his previous attorney for “incompetence” and refuted prosecutors’ attempts to “paint him as a violent individual due to his rap lyrics, adding that the only thing he’s ever killed was a microphone.”
