What’s going on guys? RBG here bringing you more coverage on Transformers Reactivate. As the days roll on we get more and more news in the form of leaks. Which gets me extremely excited to give my thoughts on these things. Obviously not everything we see represents what will be in the final version. But it’s just nice to get a general idea of what could make the final cut. So today we’re gonna take a look at stuff like the early UI designs as well as weapons that may or may not appear in the game. But yeah guys as I was saying we have some major things to go over. As you know Transformers Reactivate has been in the development oven for quite some time. We’e talking 5 years at the very least. And shortly before the game was revealed we began getting these leaks showing things that might be in the game and as well as things that never left the cutting room floor. Like there’s a lot of things that the devs thought about. Which is a good sign that they’re treating this project on the same level as the War for Cybertron games. Those titles were made with a lot of love from passionate Transformers fans and nothing has really come close to their level of detail. I know some of you are gonna bring up TF Devastation which don’t get me wrong it was an excellent game. But its a pretty straight forward beat em up title with a very short campaign. There wasn’t much under the hood when it came to features which made it feel like it was lacking certain things. It also didn’t help that Activision didn’t really give Platinum Games enough time to fully realize their vision. And they would continue to be restricted by those tight development windows causing other Activision related titles such as TMNT Mutant in Manhattan and The Legend of Korra to be duds. So Transformers Devastation was the only game that managed to slide by with a positive reception. But it didn’t quite hit the same strides of titles like Fall of Cybertron. I would like to think that the developers Transformers Reactivate have that in mind while working on it. And I must say they seem to at least have their finger on the pulse of what the fans want at least in terms of the designs.

Because these things look really good. Its almost like they got the concept designers from the Bumblebee movie to work on all the Transformers. Because they look like they could fit well withing that cinematic universe. But the designs stand out just enough to be their own unique thing. Like they aren’t necessarily riding the coattails of the films like so many others have done. We don’t see Bumblebee with the annoying radio mouth. As a matter of fact we don’t see him with the typical Evergreen design that’s been used in a lot of modern Transformer media like TF Cyberverse and Earthspark. Everything just looks fresh and really grounded. Like these characters are gonna have to adapt to their surroundings. New York is gonna be 1 of the main maps but there are other areas that will be tailored to specific characters. Speaking of maps I want you guys to take a look at the expansive maps. Like these things look to be pretty expansive. It looks like we’re gonna have free reign over the entire planet Earth which is a big plus. Because each location is gonna come with their own elements and as you know this Legion virus will be zombifying all of the technology. So depending on where you are in the world the enemy types will vary. Based on the leaked documents we’ll be doing missions in Anartica so you can bet to see an ice type enemy. But anyways besides New York which is already gonna be a huge metropolitin locations, we now have the confirmation of Chicago.
