- Entry for the cosplay contest is free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are limited slots available. Sign-up is on-site at the H.A.G table any time during the event proceeding the contest.
- One (1) winner will receive $100.00 cash.
- The party and cosplay contest are 18+.
- Judging to determine the winner will be based on crowd cheering. Encourage your friends to cheer for you and/or play to the crowd to increase your chance of winning.
- All costumes must cover “swimsuit areas” – no nudity. Body-paint costumes are not eligible.
- Costume, props, gestures, signage, or other supporting material cannot include hate speech, discriminatory slurs or derogatory images.
- Contestants are allowed props, signage, and other supporting material that they can physically carry with their hands. No large or heavy items that must be wheeled or carried by two or more people are allowed. Please contact us beforehand if you have any doubts or questions about your submission.
- There will be no skits as a part of this contest.
- Contestants are not allowed to throw anything off the stage, nor use projectiles or use anything on stage that will leave a mess. This includes (but is not limited to) liquids, glitter, and confetti.
- No pyrotechnics, fire, explosive devices, live animals, or similar special effects can be used during the contest; this includes smoke/smog machines and flash powder.
- All prop weapons will be checked by security.
- Each contestant may only enter one costume into the contest. Likewise, all costumes submitted are assigned to one contestant which means no pairs/teams. The winning cosplays will only be awarded one prize so if your cosplay is a collaboration between multiple people, the prize will only be awarded to the registered contestant.
- H.A.G Entertainment reserves the right to turn away any contest entry it deems inappropriate or not in compliance with the rules.
- H.A.G Entertainment is unable to do lighting or audio cues or effects.
