Frequently Asked Questions
First we ask that you submit the application below. If you are applying for a specific event that has already been publicized, then you should receive a response within 3-5 business days. Otherwise, if you are applying to be considered for future events, we will keep your information on file and contact you should an opportunity present itself.
Not all sponsors, vendors and/or performers are a good fit for our events. Also, some businesses/individuals are willing to travel while others are not, we keep all of these factors in consideration.
Please note: Most performance and vendor spots are filled within the last 2-4 weeks of our event. Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your application.
If you are selected
If you are selected the next step will be to send you an information packet pertaining to your application type (sponsor, vendor, or performer). After you have decided on the package you are interested in, we will send a PayPal invoice and an agreement. The agreement helps to keep both parties responsible and understanding of their responsibilities. It’s filled with a ton of useful information such as set-up time, venue contact information, social media guidance, cancellation policy, etc. In order to secure your spot we require 50% of the invoice to be paid and the agreement signed and returned.
SponsorsThere are plenty of differences between sponsors and vendors. The primary goal for vendors is to sell their products or to network where as sponsors are more interested in an experiential engagement with our attendees. We usually offer a variety of packages and a la carte options and we are happy to work with you to figure out a memorable activation that will promote brand recognition, convert attendees into lasting customers, or whatever your goal may be. We look for sponsors that are at least remotely related to hip-hop, anime and gaming and that are wanting to take their involvement in our event to the next level.
VendorsWe look for sponsors and vendors in some way related to hip-hop, anime, or gaming or that can elevate the event in some way. Below are a few examples of suitable vendors:
Hip-hop fashion (sunglasses, sneakers, chains, etc)
Nerd fashion (anime-, videogame-, Japanese-inspired)
Arts & crafts
Handmade jewelry (no paparazzi)
Handmade body products (soaps, body creams, lotions, etc)
Food and beverage (normal or infused/elevated)
Smoke accessories (rolling trays, grinders, etc)
PerformersWe are specifically looking for hip-hop/rap artists that would like to performer their music. If you are a dancer, dance troupe, or other type of performer, we invite you to attend our event and participate in activities that would be suitable for you but we currently do not feature that type of entertainment as a part of our program. Not all performers are selected. We ask that you submit your music profiles and social media channels with your application for review.
Yes, there is a cost associated with being a sponsor, vendor or performer as our event and all of our resources that go towards promoting the event and those involved provide a valuable marketing opportunity. We offer a tiered variety of packages with increasing perks. If you are selected to participate, we will send you the corresponding information packet with all of the pertinent information in order for you to make your selection.

While every event is different and depends on the venue and how much space we are working with, below are typical vendor booth configurations we offer:
- Indoor 10×5

- Outdoor food truck or mobile store
- To make our packages as affordable as possible, booths are typically BYOT (bring your own table, chairs, and linens). However. we do have the option to provide these for you at an upcharge.
- Booths are typically without power and require a special request for us to accommodate you. Accommodation is not guaranteed.
Yes. All of our sponsor, vendor and performance packages come with a certain number of guests who are admitted into the entire event for FREE. The number of guests depends on your package level. Your guests are invited to attend the entire event even if your involvement as a vendor or performer is only for a portion of the event. For example, if you are a vendor for during our earlier “pre-game” shift only, you and your guest may still attend our after-party as general attendees.
We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. The 50% initial deposit to secure your spot is non-refundable because your spot has likely taken away the opportunity from someone else to participate. In some instances, we also produce print and digital marketing material such as flyers and digital slides that have an associated cost of material and labor.
Once the date has fallen within a certain timeframe of the event, any remaining balance you might’ve paid will also become non-refundable due to the severe inconvenience and harm the cancellation will cause the event and our brand’s reputation. In this case, you may be barred from participating in any future events we host, co-host or sponsor.
Please see the cancellation policy in your agreement and understand the terms before signing. Please ask us any questions if you are unclear what anything means.
That’s typically not a problem as most sponsors are interested in an experiential engagement and not necessarily there to sell merchandise. If you are unable to provide staff to support the event, we can work out an activation that will still serve your needs.
Sponsors also receive recognition on our onsite signage, in our attendee swag bag, our website and other online resources and elsewhere.
If you can’t make it in person no worries! We have a swag bag we give out to our guests filled with promotional and souvenir items from select vendors and sponsor. We’re happy to place an item inside the bag for you. We can either design and print flyers for you or you can coordinate with us to get alternative items inside such as keychains, pins, pens, magnets, stickers, etc.
If you can’t make it in person, we can still get your music played during our event with information for people to follow your social media and music profiles.
