The 57-year-old comedian was performing in Phoenix, Ariz. on Sunday when he revealed that he was asked to host the 2023 Oscars after he was slapped by Will Smith.
Rock then said that he would not go back to the Academy Awards because it would be like asking Nicole Simpson “to go back to the restaurant” where she left her eyeglasses before she was killed.
